Da ein Teil meiner Familie Niederdeutsch sprach, bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass es eine dialektische Region definiert und nicht eine geographische. Seit ich Pandora's Box bereits geöffnet habe, ist Upper südlich von Lower.
Yup, that's right. Lower Saxony is north of Upper Saxony. Upper/lower actually refers to their relative height in respect to the ocean. Upper Saxony is up on the mountainy area and Lower Saxony is near the ocean and thus lies lower :)
