How to Find a Mentor
I know from reading a lot, about the lives of successful people, learning from authors, that it’s important to find someone to shadow.
A lot of books have information in it from people that have mastered skills with that information.
It’s important to find people that’s been where you want to be and you can follow their steps, their thoughts, and their actions.
You can do it with books or you can actually do it with a person, is there someone you look up to that you have access to, if not how can you gain access to them?
It doesn’t take both of you to have that mentorship going, it really takes one person to accomplish something. If that person wants it bad enough, the other person will develop the same wantingness that you have.
The mentor’s job is to guide you, that’s it. They’re not going to hold your hand step by step, their there to give you insight and steer you in the right direction. You’ve got to make your decisions yourself.
In the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles, he talks about money and doing things in a certain way. I believe that applies to anything, there’s a successful way to do everything, a certain way.
They’ll guide you, all you have to do is listen, learn, and take the necessary actions required to get what you need done.
Before long you’ll be a representation of that person.
Find the people that have done what you want to do, do the things that they’ve done in that certain way, that way you can have similar or greater successes.
