May 8th and 9th mark Victory Day; the end of World War 2 and the victory over Nazi Germany and its allies.

To celebrate, we're sponsoring two games at @spl.

Both games are freerolls (no cost to play) with a 25 SBD jackpot.

The games are our way of celebrating on the STEEM blockchain the end of the Nazi regime and the defeat over them. They take place over two days because Victory Day is celebrated on the 8th in Western Europe and on the 9th in Russia.

The games are being dedicated to all military veterans on the blockchain, irrespective of their country or which side their predecessors fought for.

This picture was actually taken a few days after the actual flag raising. No one was around to take a good picture at the right moment so they recreated it. The guy who recreated it had a portion of his family murdered by the Nazis. So did I. "It's a good photograph."
