There is a new token coming, as I understand it, it will be an SMT token, although they are talking about a Steem-"fork" in the whitepaper.
Airdrop
10% of the 4,000,000,000 VITs will be airdropped to the SteemHolders who had Steem at block 18,500,000.
The rest will be sold earlier as an ERC20 Token and go to content creators.
Big Players are participating
Vice Industry Token is partnered with Penthouse, Exxxtasy, Playmen, RedHot TV,
SkineMaxHD, to name just a few.
How will it work
Similar to what we already have on Steem. As I understand it:
You have to judge which snippets of porn are of good quality by watching the clips, then you give them a like if they are good with your voting weight. If more people like it you get part of the rewards.
These snippets will have something like a link to premium content. There you will have to pay with your VITs for example for watching the whole clip.
The content producers can then sell these tokens on the market and finance themselves.
This way good content can become trending and be discovered.
The viewer gets fed higher quality porn, just like in Steemit good content gets promoted as well on the trending page.

I just read the whitepaper... not sure how this will work yet... but there was a day a few weeks ago when Steem had 500 million USD 24 hour volume... not sure if someone in the know bought a bunch of them upon hearing this usage example....
I think that the Steem Wallet will look something like an ERC20 wallet I guess... I would love to hear something about that from @ned... but he is very quiet about the SMTs...
According to the whitepaper, the Airdrop tokens will be distributed by January 2021...

This seems to be real... just wait for the airdrop... it makes sense as well... Look at the number one person involved... he is the head of these channels with a broadcast license in Canada it seems...
If this is an example of a SMT then I think Steem will go to hundreds of dollars... (this is no investment advice)
