Blockchain + VR = The Best Crypto Investment Opportunity?

in #vibehub7 years ago

  • In the market, today Bitcoin remains afloat above $4k. It has tested the support line on several occasions within the last couple of days but has remained strong, for now.

  • Bitcoin cash has been steadily falling over the past 2 days after reaching nearly a thousand dollars.

  • Ethereum taking a sharp turn upwards, and long may it continue. Their $320 sell wall was eaten alive on Gdax:

  • I’m such a geek to find that so entertaining. As I’ve been reporting on there has been steady positive news out of their camp, such as the planned plasma scaling solution, yet the value was floundering, which is to be expected. When Bitcoin was rocketing the money was hardly going to leave, and then combined with the uncertainty of the future with the BTC vs BCH fight getting more heated. Now that the dust has settled we should see the alt coin market make more movements. That’s not to say however that Ethereum’s 3000% gain this year still makes it undervalued.

  • IOTA is down from a recent $1 spike to 88 cents at the moment. Now it’s not uncommon after a very quick growth spurt upwards to retrace somewhat afterwards. In fact, it happens almost every time, case in point Bitcoins current price.

  • Now I’m not a financial advisor and this is not financial advice, you are responsible for your own money. NEO looks to be on sale at the moment down to $35.

  • Now what is Embers and Eternity coin? Up 500 and 600% this week respectively.

  • https://embermine.com/ Embers quite briefly is a smart contract platform, and right away you know it’s hitting that buzzword which investors love. Primarily it’s designed to be an all-encompassing platform for content creators to share their original content, collaborate with other creators, and get paid for doing so. They have a mobile and web app in development.

  • https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eternity/#charts Now I’m not saying Eternity coin is a pump and dump, the charts merely have the signs of one. It’s on the most ghetto exchanges you can think of though.

  • Now I did make a video talking about this previously, but only 80 or so of you watched it. Not saying that you should now go and watch it.

  • Uhhhh cringe.

  • For those that don’t know, pump and dump groups are run by a few individuals, usually that hold a lot of Bitcoin. They will use the influence they have over their social media followers, by either telling them on the day, or telling them the next pump will be in a weeks’ time. However, they’ve already selected the next coin to pump a while before they announce it, giving them time to quietly pick up as much as they can of that coin without drawing attention to it. Then when they announce the pump they sell their coin to their own followers.

  • This coin is a Masternode one, where by holding a lot of the coin they make quite a bit more passively. Pumpers love this. As for the project itself, it’s another crypto currency. shrug.

  • Onto the news, Bithumb, http://bithumb.cafe/archives/10619 is going to add Monero on the 23rd. Very interesting news as Korea has been largely behind the huge pumps we have seen lately in Bitcoin Cash and Dash. And as a lot of you have pointed out, political turmoil over there could see citizens move en-masse into the crypto space. For example, after the American invasion of Iraq the local currency, the Dinar, plummeted to the floor in value. Those with a financial knowledge saw the opportunity and exchanged huge sums of Dollars for it. Recently the Dinar has stabilised in value, netting massive profits for those speculators.

  • The Philippines has granted licences to two local bitcoin exchanges, which is one of the first steps to the end goal of mass market adoption, so highly positive.

Vibehubs pre-ICO is underway. Now I like their idea and will likely talk in more detail about the project in future, but VR generally is a really emerging industry. Combine that with blockchain and you have the speculators dream. If you think about it, we are still using generation 1 VR devices at the moment. They are awkward and the resolution isn’t very high, and yet a lot of people love them. Imagine when you can have VR glasses, or contact lenses even. This is why a lot of technology analysts predict mass market adoption in the not too distant future. Some of the projects that are getting into this space are still at ground zero. While it may take a number of years, one of them is likely to rocket.

Did you consider posting on Dtube?

Nope, but I will look into it, thanks!

Are asian markets prone to speculate? I think all markets are, but maybe right now incentives in Korea, China and Japan are different

How will VR utilize a blockchain?

Thank you for a great article. Keep up the good work!

I think you are totally off on Vibehub. This one boarders on sketchy. Super vague team bios, small team, no advisory board, no VR experts in the industry backing them, no partners/companies/investors, no existing company with any history. I liked your video posts until I saw how little research you did on this one before promoting it. As always buyers beware.
