vfx breakdown from independence day

The amount of grading that goes on in these shots is.... a lot.
also, it's funny how some things are really simple cards in the bg.
ambient passes all over the place in this too.

mind you - this effects company (cinesite) wrote the book on compositing when it first came out with independence day the first movie. The level of effects where just on another level. Higher level than anything i'd seen prior to that.
