Hello, @acidyo. Yes, this is true. But if you whant to check the accounts from IP it isn't the best plan to find the fakes accounts.
As example, me and my Wife we have account at steemit, and we use the same internet provider (same IP), and many times, same laptop.
Thank you and I hope that I comment only for making a best security program to find the fake accounts.
