I analyze mostly on USD and buy sell on BTC if that's the only trade. However, if the USD says to buy, I buy at whatever the BTC pair price is, the same for sell. My objective is not to accumulate as much BTC balance but USD. The BTC pair also has two variables (rate of change in demand for XVG and rate of change in BTC price). The USD only has one variable, the rate of change in demand for XVG which is why it almost always leads the BTC pair.
