One of the lesser but still personally endearing reasons I liked the white McAfee as the Libertarian Party nominee for President in 2016 is because he married a black hooker from Miami, to make things doubly non-traditional, thus giving society a giant middle finger.

At 70, at the time, he was already unafraid to tell it bluntly, yet it was all within his own libertarian framework as someone who lives his own philosophy, not just paid lip service to it. It was great to find out later that he's been a cryptocurrency proponent all this time, and that he endorsed privacy coin Verge (XVG).

Verge just announced an exclusive partnership with internet porn mega-plex Porn Hub. Anyone with even common knowledge knows that porn is a multi-billion dollar industry. Many also value privacy a lot. It happens that many enjoy the former only with the latter, and now a cryptocurrency, privacy coin Verge (XVG), has stepped in to facilitate the flow of business.

Though the price per coin is down after the news, I can't help guessing that it's going to bounce very hard once people realize it's an actual, dedicated use of a cryptocurrency which not many others can say, and it's exclusive, and it's global. My guess is that it will "moon" anyway--and not by rocket, but by steam train, which hasn't left the station yet.

In fairness, here's a counter-argument. To the extent that there was any deception behind the scenes, I completely agree with him. But I still agree that there's a market for this. We'll soon find out.
