Venice. Giant hands.
Giant hands emerge from the water and grab the building. This unusual sculpture, which recently appeared in Venice, is called "Support". These huge hands hold the old historical building, in which the hotel "Ca'Sagredo" is located.
The creator of the sculpture "Support" is the Italian artist Lorenzo Quinn.
This work was a reminder that people should respond to global warming, before it's too late. First of all, the artist wanted to draw attention to the problems of Venice, which can be destroyed by the effects of warming.
Hands, according to the artist's intention, should symbolize the two sides of man - creative and destructive, and the sculpture is called upon to evoke both a sense of hope and fear.
It is beautiful, I was in Venice and did not see any of them, shame that thanks to global warming, it will soon be ghost town maybe
