Venezuela's Highest Ranking Military Attaché Flips On Maduro; Urges Armed Forces To Recognize Guaidó
Venezuela's top military attaché at the Washington D.C. Embassy has broken ranks from Nicolas Maduro on Saturday. He recognized Juan Guaido as the leader of Venezuela and urged other top military leaders to follow him.
He also expressed the ending to turning weapon on the population. After all, he said, we are the people too.
Gaining a following could be difficult since many of the Military's top leaders fear reprisal from Maduro. It is acknowledged by many diplomats that he is not the true President but it means little while he has the military in his pocket.
