Today's events in Venezuela highlight a very uncomfortable truth:

The only way to solve this crisis is with military intervention.

The USA has a binary choice: military intervention to remove the PSUV from power, or a perpetual humanitarian crisis with refugees overwhelming our border.

As long as we sit on our collective ass and leave Maduro in power, we have no right to tell Venezuelan refugees they may not come here in order to survive.
