Carlos Baute

Was born in Caracas on March 8, 1974. Son of Alfonso Baute and Clara Jiménez, he has Spanish roots, while his grandmother is in Cuba.
At the age of 13 he started in the musical group "Los Chamos", recording the album "Con un poco de amor". Working as a model, she released her first solo album "Orígenes I" in 1994.

With the album "I was born to love ..." (1999) he moved to Spain and began to have a lot of success with all his albums, participation in television series.
He has received many awards: Ondas, Dial, Premios de la Música, nominated for Premios Amigo.
Their concerts and way of dancing are spectacular, as well as composing their own songs.
On April 1, 2008 his new album "De mi Puño y Letra" was released.

In 2009, he premiered as host of his own program "Elígeme" for Cuatro.
His album "De Mi Puño y Letra" achieves a huge success over 80,000 copies sold getting Platinum Record in Spain and Gold Record in Venezuela for more than 10,000 albums sold. The song "Hanging in your hands" breaks records with more than 5 months number 1 in the lists. Source
