Tradiciones fin de año en Venezuela
Muchos recordamos los 31 de diciembre en Venezuela por la variedad de rituales, costumbres o tradiciones que se hacen a las 12 de las noche. Además de la buena comida que nos metemos antes de la medianoche, las tradiciones de año nuevo son otro momento clásico de toda celebración del nuevo año.
Algunas de las tradiciones de fin de año en Venezuela más recordadas son:
– Tomar un pocotón de lentejas y tenerlas en la mano cuando llegue el nuevo año para tener prosperidad
– Dar una vuelta a la calle con un par de maletas para tener un nuevo año lleno de viajes
– Atragantarse con 12 uvas al momento de las campanadas, una por cada campanada, en la cuenta regresiva a la vez que van pidiendo deseos por cada uva.
– Romper las copas para dejar el pasado atrás y abrir paso al futuro prometedor del nuevo año
– Ponerse ropa intima amarilla para la buena suerte
– Al momento de la medianoche tener dinero en el bolsillo que quiere decir prosperidad económica en el nuevo año
– Escribir los deseos en una carta que, ya en enero, cada uno quema para asegurarse de que nadie más pueda leerla.
– Utilizar ropa interior roja para encontrar el amor ideal.
– Ponerse la ropa interior al revés, con el proposito de tener mucha ropa nueva en el año venidero.
– Lanzar cosas viejas por la ventana
– Limpiar la casa de adentro hacia fuera con agua y desechar el agua usada fuera de la casa para eliminar la energía negativa (el día de fin de año)
