18 young detainees share cells with adults in Punto Fijo

18 adolescents detained for different crimes in the municipality of Carirubana, Falcón state, share cells with the adults in the different pre-trial detention centers due to the lack of space in the Adolescent Men's Care Center in Coro.

This was reported by Nilsa Frenellin, the first judge of Control in adolescent matters of the municipality, during a Christmas lunch that was offered to the children in the Falcón Police canteen accompanied by their mothers.

The judge explained that the adolescents in custody were reunited in the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation (Cicpc), the Falcón Urban Security Detachment, the Carirubana Police and the Falcón Police, to entertain them with a Christmas lunch accompanied by their mothers , because in the centers where they are detained they do not receive the attention they should because they are not suitable for their attention.

Frenellin thanked the support of the Public Defense, the Office of Protection of Adolescents and the heads of each command so that the young people enjoyed a lunch with their parents.
