1 option to exchange STEEM into Bolivar (using a broker)

Many Venezuelan people want to know how they can turn their cryptocurrency into cash they can spend locally. Since I have been helping several friends from that country, I have realized how important this question is.

It is already hard enough to earn STEEM. These people now face not being able to spend it on anything. As I've mentioned, many are hungry or even starving!

Because I have never myself exchanged any STEEM for Canadian dollars (or any currency), it is hard for me to answer this question. Also, I am learning Spanish, but it isn't fast enough to be useful for me to write a proper article that would explain the details involved in each step. But I will keep researching potential methods and sharing anything I find!

What is a broker?

A broker is somebody who facilitates part of a transaction, for a fee. In this case, the broker has already done the work (and paid the costs) needed to set up transfers between various currencies, including STEEM and Bolivar (Bs). They already have an account with a Bitcoin exchange. They already have a Venezuelan bank account. They already have various cryptocurrency wallets set up and working. The broker gets paid to make things easier for you.

NOTE: I am not necessarily recommending this method. I know people who have used this method successfully. Like I said before, you will pay a fee (and the fee various from broker to broker) for the convenience and speed. It is up to you, to decide if you prefer this method, or another one. I only release this information in the hopes that it helps somebody.

What you need:

• some available STEEM in your account wallet (not Steem Power)
• a bank account in Venezuela
• 'discord' chat program, or some other way to find a broker

Locate a broker.

The first step requires you take the initiative! I can't tell you who to choose for a broker, or even where you should look. If you have used internet searches before, you will be able to find brokers who deal in Bolivar.

One idea is to use a chat program like Discord. There are often channels and groups specifically for currency brokers. You might also try asking for brokers in a general Venezuelan channel or page. People are usually friendly and helpful if you are polite. They will direct you better than I can.

You can also search on Steemit or Google for somebody that does currency exchange between Steem and Bolivar, but if you already use Discord that will probably be easier for you.

Choose a broker you believe is trustworthy. Again, I can't tell you exactly how to do that. Everybody is different. Consider looking for a broker who has been doing this for a long time. Maybe ask for references. Go to their blog, do they have a good reputation, do you like their posts / comments?

The other main consideration is the price. Ask brokers for their rates. Most of them will be the same, or very close, but sometimes you can find a deal. Again, use your judgement, and be careful.

Don't choose the first broker you speak to. Always get at least 2 or 3 quotes before you decide.

Ask the broker for directions.

At this step, ask the broker how his or her process works. "What is the method?" Make sure you know the current exchange rate, make sure you have everything required, and make sure you understand the whole process. Ask how long it normally takes to complete the exchange.

If you think you have the right broker, confirm the deal, and ask to proceed. (If not, keep searching.)

Make the Steem payment.

Every broker has a different method, so I can't tell you exactly what to do at this step. It will be easy to follow the directions. In most cases, you will be asked to use the 'transfer' tool in your wallet, to send your Steem to the broker.

If you have used 'transfer' before, this will be very easy for you. If you need help, ask the broker for step by step directions.

(Maybe the first time, only transfer a small amount (such as 3 Steem). If that goes well, next time transfer a larger amount.)

Receive the Bolivar payment.

As I mentioned, the broker takes care of several steps for you. That is why they get paid! You will likely be asked for your bank account info (your name, account number, bank name) and within a few minutes the currency is deposited in your account.

Ya es bastante difícil ganar autoestima. Esta gente ahora se enfrentan a no poder gastarlo en nada. Como he mencionado, muchos tienen hambre o incluso hambre!

Porque nunca he intercambiado ningún autoestima por dólares canadienses (o cualquier moneda), es difícil para mí responder a esta pregunta. También, estoy aprendiendo español, pero no es lo suficientemente rápido para ser útil para mí escribir un artículo adecuado que explicaría los detalles involucrados en cada paso. ¡ pero seguiré investigando métodos potenciales y compartiendo cualquier cosa que encuentre!

¿Qué es un Corredor?

Un corredor es alguien que facilita parte de una transacción, por un honorario. En este caso, el corredor ya ha hecho el trabajo (y pagado los costos) necesario para establecer transferencias entre varias monedas, incluyendo autoestima y Bolívar (BS). Ya tienen una cuenta con un intercambio de Bitcoin. Ya tienen una cuenta bancaria venezolana. Ya tienen varios cryptocurrency carteras de configuración y trabajo. El broker se paga para facilitarle las cosas.

Nota: no estoy recomendando necesariamente este método. Conozco gente que ha usado este método con éxito. Como he dicho antes, usted pagará un honorario (y el honorario vario del corredor al corredor) para la conveniencia y la velocidad. Depende de usted, decidir si prefiere este método, u otro. Sólo libero esta información con la esperanza de que ayude a alguien.

Lo que necesitas:

-algunos autoestima disponibles en su cartera de cuenta (no autoestima poder)
-una cuenta bancaria en Venezuela

Localice a un corredor.

También puede buscar en Steemit o Google para alguien que hace cambio de moneda entre autoestima y Bolívar, pero si usted ya utiliza la discordia que probablemente será más fácil para usted.

Elige un broker que creas que es digno de confianza. Una vez más, no puedo decir exactamente cómo hacer eso. Todo el mundo es diferente. Pida instrucciones al corredor.

En este paso, pregúntele al corredor cómo funciona su proceso. "¿Cuál es el método? " Asegúrese de saber el tipo de cambio actual, asegúrese de que tiene todo lo necesario, y asegúrese de que entiende todo el proceso. Pregunte cuánto tiempo toma normalmente para completar el intercambio.

Si cree que tiene el intermediario adecuado, confirme el acuerdo y pídale que proceda. (si no, siga buscando.)

Envíe el pago autoestima.

Recibir el pago de Bolívar.

Como mencioné, el broker se encarga de varios pasos para usted. ¡ por eso les pagan! Es probable que se le pida la información de su cuenta bancaria (su nombre, número de cuenta, nombre del Banco) y en pocos minutos la divisa se deposita en su cuenta.
