Brief reflection: The Venezuela's Golden Generation

in #venezuela6 years ago (edited)

A few days ago, a group of young "bachilleres" (High school student) decided to end their caravan (a special trip that graduating high school students make in order to celebrate their graduation) with a rally in the Jesús Soto Sphere on the Francisco Fajardo Highway (One of the most famous artwork in Caracas) In the place there were minors in their brassieres, half-naked, drinking sugar cane, with loud music, driving trucks into the place and obviously causing a long queue on the highway before the eyes of a few policemen who were in the place.

In the following you will see the picture of these kids celebrating in one of the most important artkworks here in Caracas, Venezuela. Also here is one girl's reaction to criticism of the action taken by these children.

HAHAHA. Do you have evidence that we left garbage lying around? Son, the cops were there and even though they are a bunch of moroons, they were watching us and taking care of us and nobody made a mess of any kind, guys dancing and enjoying themselves, they had the permission of the cops to be there, so what's your show? That is not your problem or anyone's problem where they are celebrating or not dumbass, dumb is what you are a frustrated one like others, stop criticizing others and take care of your business, that's the only thing you should care about and not some graduates from school teenagers, leave your frustration hahaha.

This is the Golden generation, the generation created by the supreme commander Hugo Chavez, a generation that was created under the yoke of socialist education that does not accept criticism, it is that generation that does not care who is affected by its actions and that always excuses itself and resolves by saying "get into their lives and let others live" As if the freedoms of some people will not end up affecting the freedoms of others. Honestly, these children need to be brainwashed about what freedom, virtue and responsibility are all about.

"That's not your problem or anyone's problem where they're celebrating or not, you idiot."

Apparently someone has to explain to this 16-year-old girl that this is not her place, they belong to everyone, and there are rules and laws to follow, if they want to do something where no one gets involved or thinks, they better rent a club but at least take the slightest precaution so that they don't miss the horrendous actions that have happened in clubs like El Paraiso, where that dawn in another celebration of the Golden Generation created a brawl and in the end they threw a tear gas canister and ended up 17 people dead.

The level of cynicism of some today is regrettable, marginality seems to be "cool".... today values, principles and education are completely lost.

And as my 6th grade teacher used to say, "if they only memorize and do not learn to reason, they will only be ignorant with degrees".

The loss of values among Venezuelan citizens can be seen simply by walking through the streets, motivated by the serious crisis that has spread under the Nicolás Maduro regime, which has marginalized people in order to control them more easily.

This act of tyranny and lack of values has been appreciated in the most important monuments of the city, which are not respected for the historical and cultural feeling that they present, and being mostly used by fanatics and simply "hang out".

hahahahaha I always laugh at your Relevance comments @openparadigm

I'm sure all these young men woke up early the next morning and put on their suits to go to work, being newly graduated should guarantee that they're all productive members of society lol ;)

Indeed they are all very productive for the society :D FUCKING GARBAGE

I can admit that I didn't start wearing a tie until I met my wife in my early 20s but I'm a blast from the past where I am from. To be positive, these kids may smarten up when they get to be around 25 too, here's hoping ;)

Something that you did not get it. Is the fact, that there were also their parents, not only the kids. Also the police officers allow kids to be there...

I did miss that the parents were there, that's plain strange to me. The cops are only able to act in the opposite interest of the people they are supposed to serve it seems to me for sure.
