EDUCATE IN VALUES: FAIR AND NECESSARY

Although it seems a trite issue it is very important to reinforce the values ​​from the school in Venezuela, for nobody is a secret that in our country there is currently a deep economic, political and social crisis that feeds off with the loss of values ​​and, Sometimes it is justified by the need to survive in a hostile environment, which affects us all equally, the lack of tolerance is present in all, these antivalores that exist in the country are government policies that have broken the social fabric and the personal dignity from the exacerbated assistance that places the citizen in a situation of extreme dependence on the State, as well as the lack of public policies and concrete actions to sanction these negative values ​​that gradually pass from the displaced and violent sectors to all spheres of society Venezuelan.

Because of the same situation in the country, people argue for anything and since values ​​are established mainly from the family, children are taking those attitudes as if they are normal, every day, at school I can observe how students fight for any nonsense , that if he saw me ugly, that if he does not greet me, among others, then I ask myself, it will be that we teachers are not trying to reinforce the students' values? Will it be necessary to revalue the active participation of the teacher and the development of a code of actions (methods, strategies and / or procedures) previously agreed to reinforce values ​​in children?

It will be then that we as teachers must transform this social reality from education, because the formation in values, comes from social life and school action, based on mutual respect of the teacher, the student and the family. All value and teaching must start from a principle, the being of each student, develop in each of them, a series of skills that make emerge the capacities of security, self-esteem and autonomy, allowing them to be fully formed as people, to learn to to listen, to be available, to be tolerant, to play with others, to work, to win and lose, to make decisions. Education is the whole, there is the importance that teachers in Venezuela assume the challenge of maintaining the ethical values ​​characteristic of Venezuelans in students, such as respect for others, the ability to understand, hospitality, humor and meaning of responsibility, also so that they are able to function in this pluralistic society, in which they can practice these values ​​as a norm of life.
