Scary tourism, let's see who will dare to travel a little bit more!

Turismo de miedo, ¡a ver quién se anima a viajar un poco más!

One of the things I like the most when I go to see a movie at the cinema, which is clearly not the case here, is that little space of time in which they play the trailers of the upcoming releases, I understand that many do not like to anticipate content through these, but I'm a big fan of watching them and so I found out about Venicephrenia.

On the big screen at the cinema it looked spectacular, a wonderful location, the famous carnivals, historical costumes and of course mystery and lots of blood, the kind of thing that sometimes catches my attention.

It should be noted that I was very interested in the location, Venice is a destination that I have been interested in for some time, and for which before seeing this film I had evaluated options for a possible trip that ended up frustrated due to logistical issues.

So I was particularly curious to absorb more information about this destination and although it is not a brilliant idea to plan a vacation based on a horror movie, in my opinion it gives it an extra point of attraction, like those people who not long ago showed great interest in sightseeing in Chernobyl, although I am not referring to real facts, of course.

Venicefrenia is a film that tells the story of the problems of over-tourism in the city from a rather radical point of view. This situation leads the locals, tired of being affected by the ingratitude and total indifference of the tourists, to take revenge on their own hands or simply to allow it by turning a blind eye.

The motives that trigger this series of ruthless events are, on the other hand, very real. Venice is a city that has to constantly take measures to regulate the massive tourism it receives every day.

Unlike other cities that share the same problems, the geographical and structural conditions of this one make it much more susceptible to deterioration and the irremediable depopulation of natives.

The main cause covered in the film are the super cruise ships, very accurate, as it is a constant concern in the European news because they cause these disembarking tourists for only one day overloading the island.

They generate huge amounts of garbage and are tempted to disrespect customs in historical sites and religious cults for the desire to enter to see them in the little time they have, they also leave without providing a significant economic investment because they do not need to stay overnight on the islands nor have enough time to devote to a local cuisine beyond the fast food that allows them to save time.

Una de las cosas que mas me gusta cuando voy a ver una película en el cine, que no es este caso claramente, es ese pequeño espacio de tiempo en el que reproducen los trailer de los próximos estrenos, tengo
