Today for my first entry to #vehiclephotography in #photocontests by @juliank , I'll like to present you one of my shots of Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. I took that photo during my Route 66 Trip in March this year.

Das glaube ich auch. Allerdings gefallen sie mir auf den Fotos aus den Anfangszeiten in den 70ern besser. :)
Ja das stimmt, und man sieht auch dass schon diverse Teile fehlen. Da hat sich wohl schon mancher bedient.
Es wundert fast, dass überhaupt noch was da ist. Immerhin steht das Kunkstwerk schon seit 1974.

Hi Patrick, wow, you was there. That is on my bucket list for sure; but first the kids have to be a bit older. Those cars are very colorful, and due to that it is art. Actually a good solution for this old iron :-)
Yes, I've been there during in March this year! Route66 is indeed an awesome experience, but you are right, I would not do the trip with small children.

Das ist wirklich ein spezieller Ort. Wäre ich noch mal davor, würde ich versuchen sehr früh morgens oder später am Abend dort zu sein, in der Hoffnung, weniger Leute auf den Fotos zu haben, dafür aber tolleres Licht. Vielleicht ginge der Schuss aber auch nach hinten los, da vielleicht viele so denken. ;)
Danke für den Tipp ;-) Ja, das könnte sein, dass viele so denken... aber generell hat man morgens bestimmt mehr Chancen weniger Leute anzutreffen.

A fun place - I have actually sprayed something on there more than once since I stayed in Amarillo for nearly a year :)
Ich glaube, das ist heute nicht mehr zu sehen. Ich will gar nicht wissen, wie dick die Farbschicht inzwischen ist. Aber cool ist das Ganze allemal. :)
