Today I have a picture of the second largest sailing ship in the world. Photographed last year in the port of Ibiza.

The Royal Clipper is an impressive and elegant sailing ship with five masts. It is 134 meters long, has 3 swimming pools on board (1 swimming pool has glass bottom) and has space for 227 passengers. This Ship is a 4 star cruise ship with 114 cabins of various categories on board.
The Royal Clipper has a total of 42 sails, which corresponds to an area of ​​5200 square meters.
In the year 2000, the sailing ship in Monaco was christened by Queen Silvia of Sweden. The Royal Clipper operates under the flag of Malta and belongs to the Monegasque shipping company Star Clippers. The figurehead is modeled after the shipowner's daughter.

The Royal Clipper operates on the western and eastern Mediterranean and the popular ports of the Balearic Islands Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, as well as Italy, Greece, Turkey or Croatia.

It would be interesting to discover in this unique way the beautiful islands, harbors, cities and beaches.

Although I like motorboats better, this sailing ship impressed me very much. It has something nostalgic and peaceful.

I could imagine meditating on the sound of the sea, the smell of salt water and a fresh breeze around my nose, and practice mindfulness.
