RE: What The Health? or Why I Am Vegan

in #vegetatian7 years ago (edited)

I eat high protein and fats, tons of veggies and light carbs and works great for me, everyone is different physically and mentally. I couldn't go vegan or vegetarian, and i know alot of who have tried and struggled. It's all lifestyle based,

I own a fitness business with 1000s of clients and have met some of the most in shape jacked vegans and veggies but also have met over weight vegetarians that didn't start to lose weight until meat was back in their diet.

I enjoyed your post and point of view Richard.

Keep the posts coming!

As discussed in the movie, it's a misconception that meat and proteins are synonymous. All amino acids are constructed by plants and are therefor also in every plant available to eat. It's also discussed that eating high fat diets is directly what causes things like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arterial clogging, ED, etc. I had ED in college eating a diet like you just described. When I went vegan, I could feel my whole body's blood circulation increase. Everybody says "I could never go plant-based", I even said it years ago when I was struggling to get through the "30 day challenge". But the simple fact is, every year, there are 30% more plant-based options available.
