🥑 VEGE Burger in 10 steps! See how to make it at home! :)

Greenlovers! You will dream about this dish at night! Strongly vitamin, mega-filling and simple to prepare VEGE Burger!

I like to experiment with a vegetarian cuisine because it can be very surprising.

The result of my recent experiments is this VEGE Burger.
I was playing with colors, playing with beets, and I think that no crazy scientist would be ashamed of the effect!
I hope you will like the recipe!

 INGREDIENTS (for 4 burgers)

- 300g pulp for falafels (recipe here)
- 200g of beets (I cut off those young ones from young beet leaves)
- 4 green avocados
- salt

TO SERVE - lime dip (recipe here)

- 1 medium tomato
- 1 medium red onion
- a few leaves of young beetroot
- 1 lime
- fresh coriander
- sesame or black seeds for sprinkling

 PREPARATION

1. Prepare mass for falafels from this recipe: crispy homemade falafels. You can replace the parsley with fresh coriander.

2. In a small pot, boil water, and in the meantime, wash 150g of  beets and cut into a small cube. Throw for 3 minutes into boiling water,  strain on a sieve, pour with cold water and blend smoothly.

3. Put blended beetroots again into a strainer, squeeze with a spoon to remove excess water and add to the falafel mass.

4. The remaining 50g of beets blend without cooking and also add to  the "falafel" mass. You can also grate beetroots on small-mesh grater.

5. Form 4 burgers from the mass ( 3-4 cm thick), put it on baking paper and put it in the fridge for a minimum of one hour

6. During this time, we can prepare a lime dip and take care of other adds beforehand - here I wrote why it would make things easier for us

7. The most important is the avocado! We prepare  them a moment before frying burgers. Start by cutting off its extended  part - thanks to this we will get a stable base. Then cut the avocado  with a sharp knife around the pit, slightly twist and open. Stick the  knife into a pit, slightly twist - it should then be easily removed.  Gently peel both halves of the skin. You can use a large spoon, which  gently slide under the skin and rotate. Sprinkle the avocado with lime  juice and salt.

8. Prepare the other additions! Cut the tomatoes and onions into thicker slices, separate the leaves from the young beet.

9. Pour the oli on pan in to 2 cm height and heat on medium fire.  When the oil is hot, pull out the burgers from the fridge and carefully  put on hot oil. Cook them without moving for 3 minutes, then turn over  and fry another 2 minutes. Place the fried burgers on a paper towel.

10. It's time to make a burger! In mine, the order  was as follows: clipped avocado, beets leaves, onion rings, burger,  tomato, coriander, lettuce and lime dip. The whole is covered with the  round side of the avocado, which is again lightly sprinkled with lime  juice, and then sprinkled with black seeds or sesame seeds.

VEGE Burger is an interesting alternative to buns with beef and I hope that even a few meat lovers will give him a chance! I think that Vege fans will try it without additional convincing. :)
