RE: Why Am I Concerned With Your Eating Habits?

in #veganism7 years ago

We are omnivorous animals and our diet today is just reflective of our evolution over thousands of years. Im not saying that cant change but its not going to happen overnight. We might need another 1000 years to evolve beyond it.

HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO "EVOLVE" FROM USING SLAVES?

MANY PEOPLE GO VEGAN OVERNIGHT (NOT 1000 YEARS).

what do you recomend someone with a high need for nutritoonal proten get their prtoen resources from?

thank you for the support

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR PROOOOOTEIN?! (THIS QUESTION?! :)

UNLESS YOU INTEND TO CAUSE YOURSELF DISEASE & SICKNESS IN THE BODY, YOU WILL NOT WANT "HIGH PROTEIN".

INSTEAD, DEAL WITH THE PROTEIN MYTH, THE INSECURITY & FEAR ABOUT MUSCLES, AND GO DO SOME HARD WORK.

EAT ENOUGH, EAT ENOUGH, EAT ENOUGH CALORIES.... AND YOU WILL GET ENOUGH PROTEIN.

IT TOOK 400 YEARS FOR WHITE PEOPLE TO STOP KEEPING BLACK PEOPLE AS SLAVES.

AND YOU CANT REACH FOR THE ALMOND MILK, INSTEAD?

Our diet is NOT subject to evolution but it's a matter of our conscious choice. This is one of the biggest misconception that our diet can evolve from non-vegetarian to pescitarian or flexitarian or lacto-ovo-vegetarian or vegan or anything else. These are all labels we have chosen to categorize human diet habits. Carnism too is a habit and not an evolutionary milestone. Omnivorous can digest meat as well as plant diet. So switching over to purely plant-based diet doesn't require any evolution but a conscious decision to abide by it. In my country millions of people are vegetarian for past thousands of years and yet some of them switch over to a non-vegetarian diet. What's evolution then!

Evolutionary reasons are just another excuse to defend our non-vegan diet. Today humanity has not left with a long time frame of 1000 years to make this switch. The circumstances demand an immediate switch. And it's not even a choice now, it has become mandatory for our species' survival. It's kind of "Do or Die" situation today.

So yes, you are right that it's not going to happen, we need to make it happen, else it's never going to happen on its own.

If we are omnivorous, how come our entire digestive system is different than the digestive system of omnivores in nature?

Exactly. You don’t have an answer—you are now aware of that ignorance. Our digestive systems are like that of a gorilla—an extremely muscular primate that eats only leafy greens and fruits. Check out my feed for more info :)
