This is so interesting! I never would have thought to do something like this. Does it taste relatively the same as cheese? I've only found one vegan cheese recipe that I like and it's more effort than I'd like it to be. This could definitely be a potential alternative. I'll try it out tomorrow :) Thanks for sharing!
Hey terril, I'd say it has some cheesy taste due to the nutritional yeast and the onion. I might also help to add some salt to make it taste more like cheese (since cheese includes a lot of salt). However, it defenitely does not taste 100% like cheese made from animal milk.
I'd love to see you give it a try and I am curious if you like it!
