Cooking with Fresh Florida Seasonal Veggies

in #vegan7 years ago

There’s nothing like being a vegan in Florida where you can grow your own organic veggies year round to take your recipes over the top. My freshly picked cilantro is in season now in Central Florida, and you just can’t get any better than the garden fresh, aromatic, organic leaves that I love to put in rice, burritos, and many other delicious vegan recipes. Here’s one of my favorites, bean burrritos!🌯

Cilantro works well in so many dishes, it adds a great fresh taste!

I would love to grow some herbs on my apartment balcony! 🌱

Those burritos look so delicious! 🔥 How did you make them?

Cilantro is a great cool weather crop that you can grow on your balcony. Chopped my tomatoes, cilantro, lettuce, threw on some retried beans, brown rice, daiya cheese, wrapped up and cooked in a frying pan. I also added the sweet chili sauce on top for a delicious meal.
