A Farmer's Market Fresh Lunch 😍🌱🙏

How fresh is your food? Do you know where it comes from? Who grows it/produces it? Is it farm fresh or plastic wrapped in shelves of grocery stores? Farmer's markets are one of my favorite things in the world! I always try to visit the local markets everywhere I go, getting to know local growers and supporting the local food movements across the globe! Here's what's possible from swinging by your own market and connecting with the neighbors that are working hard to bring food to your table! 1) You support your neighbours, fostering connection in your community 2) You are voting with your dollar and supporting the 'little guys' instead of the big corps 3) You are getting fresher and often times more loved and/or organic, seasonal food which is much better for your health! This list could go on and on but the point is, local food support can change the structure of our food and therefore our lives so start choosing local! 💓 Check out this delicious sandwich I made with freshly picked cherry tomatoes, freshly baked bread, locally fermented kimchi and wild mushrooms! Yum!
