The "Vault 7 - Year Zero Revelation" released by WikiLeaks today is Great News for STEEMIT..!!
This is set to be the largest intelligence publication in history as WikiLeaks begins a new series of leaks on the US Central Intelligence Agency.
Code-named "Vault 7" this publication of confidential CIA documentation is a serious blow to the Agency and one that has sent shock-waves around the Globe.
A total of 8,761 documents and files were released from what was suppose to be a highly secured network from inside the CIA's Centre of Cyber Intelligence.
BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
This Cyber-security breach will accelerate the Digital Distributed Ledger Technology (Blockchain) into the spotlight as it will be seen as the antidote for what is fast becoming a Global Epidemic of Security.
Whether you agree or condemn the actions of WikiLeaks is not the point, the real point is in the fact that they have been able to penetrate what is supposedly one of the most secure networks on the planet.
WAKE-UP CALL
Today should be a wake-up call for everyone and lessons learnt from it rather than the "handbag slinging" that is most likely going to follow in the hours, days and weeks ahead.
Since its advent the Internet has never been under so much scrutiny for its security, as it is today.
This scrutiny will be centred around systems that are built around a centralised environment and will see huge changes ushered in, in the near future.
