Announcing: Steemit Worldwide Vaping Community on Discord and a Call to Action for Steemian Vapers
While this room has been around for a while (thank you again, @beanz), I haven't put a lot of time into growing it (or even really introducing it properly for that matter) until now (and I'm sorry). However, I'm totally ready to focus some energy on getting this vaping community together here, but I need your help.
My idea for this vaping-centric community room would be a concentrated place to see and share Steemit's vape-related posts (I do mod this room so keep your non-related stuff outta there or I will.) in the room, as well as discussion among ecigarette users around the world. I think it could be really cool.
Please use the tag #vaping in all of your vape-related posts to increase visibility, searchability, as well as keeping everything in a one-stop-hub for now.
I know you're out there, vapers! I keep hearing from you every time I post an article about it, but let's unify in one place and start bringing that vapelyfe to Steemit! :)
Handchecks, trick sessions, cloud blowing efforts, cool building tips for beginners, juice making for beginners...there's a lot of stuff out there to write about and share when it comes to vaping. Here are some ideas, and feel free to add yours in the comments:
Post your handchecks with details about what's in your hand, what batts are you running, what's the specs of your build? You know that drill.
Post macro photography of your beautiful new RDA build. Those shots are gorgeous.
Post an edit of you running through your tricks for the next comp and talk about your process.
Make video tutorials of what you do best (tricks, DIY juice making, coil building, cloud chucking, etc.), share that with the community, and use that as an opportunity to practice the basics.
Review eliquid and hardware. Steemians are readers, so you don't have to review on video...just make sure you include detailed and interesting photos and links to enrich the experience.
Do you work at a vape shop? I do. Write about it. They're pretty fun places to work in general.
Use your imagination. Be innovative.
Share your story.
Photographers: Vape (and especially tricks) is really cool to photograph! Take those photos and please post them within our community!
The Call To Action:
In the next week, write a post about how vaping has had a positive effect on your life. Use the tag #vaping as the first tag of your post. Let's increase visibility by a push at the same time.
I'll post my personal vape story on Monday.
ICYMI above, here's that Discord link again to join our community!
The United States in particular has never been in a more crucial time as far as the potential loss of our vaping freedoms are concerned, and it is literally going to take all of our voices if we're to make any difference at all.
That's why I encourage all of us to share those personal vaping success stories on Steemit...blast the platform, as well as the excellent SEO that Steemit seems to have in place for us.
Also, you literally can't tell people enough how vaping has changed your life for the better. There are so many smokers who need to hear it from you. (By the way, if you're still a smoker--no judgement here whatsoever. Not the right thing for the right time for everyone.)
As a vaping advocate, you might begin feel like you sound like a stuck record (hardcore cliche, I know), or that your words aren't getting through, but you never know which of those people who you relayed that message to really needed to hear it, and not just the words, but from you.
I've noted in previous articles that while on paper, scientific evidential research should be the only thing that matters, sadly in this day and situation, people and politicians are more likely to listen to personal stories than they are listening to literal facts, data, and research...
So let's inundate the internet with our own journeys to a tobacco-free lifestyle.
It isn't an easy road for everyone (as I was talking about in my previous post), but it is a road we have been traveling together and it is time that we unify here on Steemit...plus it's way fun to take pictures of mod checks and builds and share them with each other.
thanks
