Yes, you are single but that doesn't necessarily mean that you are alone. Look around you. You have your family who loves you dearly everyday. You also have your friends who are your walking diaries, your companions, your constant hangout buddies. Do not feel too insecure about being surrounded by couples. You are not the last single person on Earth so don't think too much.

Be better, not bitter. While you are waiting for that right person to come in your life, make the most out of that time to make yourself better so that when the right person finally comes, you are 100% ready. There is always a perfect timing for everything. God is still writing your love story.
I used to hate Valentines day before, not because I'm single but because of some other reason that I don't want to remember anymore. But then, I stopped being bitter. I stopped hating. I realized in the end, Valentines day shouldn't just be for couples. It's for everyone! You don't have to be miserable during this day!
Everyday is Valentines Day
Today, we wouldn't be able to celebrate Valentines day together again. But who cares? We have the rest of our lives to celebrate Valentines day everyday, anyway.
Today shouldn't be the only day where you crazily proclaim your love to your partner. If you love them dearly, treat them special everyday, not once out of 365 days. Although it's really nice too to see some people making an effort to make their partners happy during this day. ❤

Instead of feeling sad and bitter for being single, equip yourself and get prepared for the task ahead so that when the right person comes, you will be perfect together.

Many people make this mistake. Valentine's Day should not be the only day to show love to your partner and people around you. It should be everyday. It should not only be your partner. Show love to people around, take care of people in need. Let's learn from people like @surpassinggoogle.
Not only today and not only your partner, show love everyday and to everybody around most especially to the people in need.
