What is Polysorbate 80?
According to wikipedia, Polysorbate 80 is a surfactant and emulsifier. It is used in vaccines as an excipient. An excipient is something used for long term stabilization.
According to a vaccine ingredient list from the CDC, 15 vaccines have Polysorbate 80. (Links to sources provided at bottom)
What are the possible negative effects of Polysorbate 80?

According to the Material Safety Data Sheet on sciencelab.com Polysorbate 80:
May cause adverse reproductive effects based on animal test data. No human data found. May cause cancer based on animal test data. No human data found. May affect genetic material (mutagenic)
According to the National Institutes of Health:
Polysorbate 80 is a ubiquitously used solubilizing agent that can cause severe nonimmunologic anaphylactoid reactions.
Whoa! What the heck does that mean?
It means it can cause anaphylactic shock. And what is that?
According to wikipedia
Anaphylaxis is a serious allergic reaction that is rapid in onset and may cause death. It typically causes more than one of the following: an itchy rash, throat or tongue swelling, shortness of breath, vomiting, lightheadedness, and low blood pressure. These symptoms typically come on over minutes to hours.
An article by pediatrician Lawrence B. Palevsky on vaccinationcouncil.org states:
Polysorbate-80 is used in pharmacology to assist in the delivery of certain drugs or chemotherapeutic agents across the blood-brain-barrier. What viral, bacterial, yeast, heavy metal or other vaccine containing ingredient need to pass into the brains of our children? Do they belong in the brain? Is that part of the needed immune response to protect our children from disease? Do vaccine materials pass across the blood-brain barrier with the help of Polysorbate-80? If so, are there complications from being in the brains of our children? Is this another connection to help us get an understanding of why 1 in 150 children have autism, or 1 in 6 children has developmental/learning disabilities?
