Awesome Hotel Experience (Makati, philippines). and HELP!! how do I get out of this..
Hello fellow steemians! How are you today? I wanted to write a post about this awesome hotel my wife and I stayed at this past weekend. We chose it since it was close to the steemfest held on august 5th. It was so nice to take a mini vacay like this. It also eliminated some stress knowing that we were minutes away from the steemfest venue. We called a Grab taxi (like uber here in the philippines.. although they also have uber within the metro manila area also) and it was a short trip to steemfest. :)
First off, you know you are in a fancy place when the floors look like this..
The hotel is called I'M hotel (like I'm groot) and it's a brand new hotel. They started in december 2016 and haven't even had their grand opening yet. It's a 4 star hotel and it offers just about anything you would want from a hotel.. we went to the gym, the pool, and the restaurant. (and they have some great room service, too)
I almost forgot to mention on of the most shocking, but way cool things I found upon first looking though my room.. this..
the mini bar is complimentary? can you believe it? I was stunned. :P
and not only that.. there were some more complimentary thing that I just never heard of a hotel offering. (I guess I am too used to the motel 6 and other hotels I've stayed at in the past)
when we got to our room I was impressed by the rather big flat screen TV there that had its own remote with mouse.. using this we could order room service and a slew of other services were offered. I've never seen such a cool, high tech system.. at least, not in a hotel.
After the having a great time at the steemfest, learning a bunch of cool new things, and meeting lots of great peeps,
it was back to the hotel (great song) for one more night. We got!to sleep in (no kiddie alarms to wake us up) and we did manage to go to the pool area at the hotel which was very nice and had some very cool stuff.
One of the first things I noticed were these giant birdcage seats that you could sit or lie inside. We just had to take some pics there.

it is in makati @sasha.shade .. we found a really good deal on hotels.com so it wasn't too expensive. but the room service and restaurant food ended up being more expensive than the hotel stay:/
Nice place. When we travel in the Manila area, we usually bunk down for the night at the Mason's Grand Lodge. Basic, but very clean, and...we know how to keep the cab drivers from scamming us.

Wow for the mini bar need one here at home. I am stunned at the bird cage design, so artistic and looks fun to take selfies for love birds like you two! I can see @jazzybells eyes was flaring with love and happiness. Keep it up guys! 😉
