FollowMe ground vehicle improvement
Introduction
In this article I want to introduce my development steps of improving the FollowMe car for FlightGear, which I have modified in multiple ways from the official version since 2016.
Development steps
- In January 2017 the long time issue with crashing was finally resolved by finding a solution for proper crash handling.
- Today I had a look to all animations and adjusted the tires effect for breaking as you see in the picture
- also the effects for engine smoke, drifting, grass and snow are now placed at the right spot
- adding keyboard key for changing Pilot - Model View
- updated to version 2.5
