Thanks! Yes, I was also surprised that it's so similar. The stakeholder overlap is indeed very interesting and something I'd really like to follow up. But I guess I'll have to look up a bit more of Golos' history before jumping on any conclusions here... ;)

I listened to an EOS chat last night. And their approach is to not allow squatting and large stakes in from the beginning. It got a bit technical (staking ram/cpu etc), but this sounds like a lesson learned from other projects (IE here), and I'm more interested in EOS now, than I was previously.

I'm wondering if it's just Golos that has forked Steemit? From the SMT telegram, it seems that other parties have forked Steem as well. Just thinking...
