SteemMakers logo & banner design contest #2
Today i found this thread from SteemMakers. I did a previous submission for them but as i tought and said in the post the tooly thing they wanted was not realy suited for a logo.
So now i am here again with a new logo design, made from scratch and a banner to work with it.
The idea here is that the SM is one shape with 2 cut offs and some BLOCKS inside of the logo to reflect the blockchain. For the rest the shape is abstrackt and it can be used in diffrent collor types if needed. Also the black (shadow) in the back is the shape uncut so it can be used like that aswell.
I started like always with basic shapes.
The basic shape needed some points, so thats what i did :)
The logo felt a bit small, so i made the shape bigger and bolder
The blocks ontop of the shape are beeing made
Cutting of the two legs :D
Coloring ftw
The logo just needed a border
And used the backup shape as a drop shadow just finished it off!
Banner creation
Starting with 1680 x 230 with a logo on it
Coloring the background and a big logo in the background
Added some odd shapes
And the darker odd shapes and technical bazengas

Thank you. I think it is a bit hard to scale it down for an avatar. The banner looks very nice.
Thats just where this logo excels @jefpatat. You might loose some of blocks, but the shape itself is clean and simple. I made a example at 60 - 60 pixels :D
