About the project
GitLab is an open source, web-based Git-repository manager providing features such as wiki, issue-tracking and CI/CD pipeline. It has been developed by GitLab Inc, with Dmitriy Zaporozhets and Valery Sizov as software creators and is used by several big companies - IBM, Sony, NASA, CERN, Boeing to name the few.
It evolved from a source code management solution, designed to collaborate on software development, to an integrated solution covering the software development life cycle to begin with and to DevOps life cycle at the end.
It operates according to an open-core development model - core functionality is released under an open source (MIT) license, whereas additional functionality is regulated by a proprietary license.
- Translation overview: My next translated fragment consisted mostly of strings relating to Protected Environment, Reports, SAML SSO, error massages.
There was quite a bit of code and also some namespaces. Quite a relevant part of strings consisted of single words. My work on this fragment, as it has been mostly so far for this project, run rather smoothly.
- Word Count: Today I translated 1023 words, what makes 7050 words in total of my contribution so far in this project.
Languages: The project was translated from English to Polish
