@yabapmatt because for running an ICO you must have advisors and competences we don't have yet, and to pay for those competences you must have the funds. It's always the same circle. We must get it out of the no-funding situation and then we can do whatever is the best, ICO included.
Thanks for the reply, that makes sense. Perhaps you could offer some tokens, or early access to a future Utopian ICO as a tier reward for backing the Kickstarter project. ICOs are obviously all the rage right now and I'd like to see Utopian be able to capitalize on that funding source before it dries up.

do you know https://tokit.io/? it is a project within the SingularDTV ecosystem. the on tokit issued tokens are programmed with features and functions that allows one to manage and control ones IP’s rights, revenue, royalties and rewards.
maybe this could be an option to raise funds. but I fully agree that you shouldn't rush things in this space!
