Facebook Promotion of Steemit, Promo-Steem Abuja

Introduction

Other than my offline promotion, I have thought about reaching people in a different way, this online promotion of steemit didn't seem effective to me because I love having conversations with anyone coming to steemit in other for them to have more understanding from my experience. Nevertheless online promotion seem to have a different way of reaching out to people, the crowd is massive, less time spent, less budget and energy. I created a facebook page with the name "Promo-Steem Abuja" because I am most interested in the message getting to people in my city and was surprised with the amount of people I reached in less than a week.

Audience

My audience are men and women Living in Nigeria between the Age: 16-65+ I believe teenagers at the age of 16 can create a very good content as well as impact the Steemit Blockchain. And the target location and cities are ( Abuja Federal Capital Territory; Lagos Lagos State; Port Harcourt Rivers State) which sum upto 3 locations in Nigeria.

Activity

At first, I created a Facebook page called Promo-Steem Abuja and I published a post of my offline promotion of steemit. This post consist of pictures that shows about 300 people listening to my introduction of Steemit and Blockchain, anyone that sees this post will be attracted by the crowd on that post. I also included a link the will direct any interested individual to the steemit official page to register.
In other to reach more people, I promoted the post from 7th Feb. to 13th Feb. 2018 a period of 6 days.

My budget for the promotion was $7, and by the time I took a screenshot, I had spent about $1.50. The promotion had reach about 2023 people with 309 engagements and by the end of the promotion, it would have gotten to more than that population of people.

Result

At the moment of posting this content, The facebook boosted post had reached about 2050 with 3011 engagements, with $1.52 spent out of $7. This shows a positive result, as the post will be able to reach out to 8,000 people before the end of the promotion.
