Translation of Ancap-ch to Chinese Simplified | 1200 Words | PR Merged
Project Details
Ancap-ch is an open source project on GitHub regarding libertarian and anarchocapitalist text resources. The owner (Thiago) of this project expectes it to be translated into a variety of languages, and Chinese Simplified is one of them. Under the "zh-CN" file, there are five folders of documents that need translation into Chinese Simplified. More than one Chinese friends are contributinng on this project at the time being. Therefore, it makes it difficult for Thiago to manage contributions from different contributors. In order to be able to avoid translation conflicts, Thiago created the file "readme.md" under each language folder, which allows contributors to reserve the files they would like to translate. It is a very smart idea to solve the issues of conflicts caused by multiple contributors. Today, I have reserved several files to work on in the next few days.

Actually, I think translation should not be done word for word in that Chinese and English have different structure. The most important thing for translaton is we are able to correctly express the meaning. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion, and I will pay more attention to my translation in the future. Hi @swfsql, I just read the file you mentioned. For names, I think we can just use their English form. There is no need to translate them. There are two reasons. On the one hand, we do not have a uniform rule to translate names (it is very likely that different people will translate differently, and it is weird to use different translations for the same name in one book); on the other hand, the English form is easier for readers to search for more related information.
