Bug In DTube: Unable to Edit existing video (Error While Submitting to blockchain)

Expected behavior

When editing an existing video on D.Tube, clicking the 2nd 'edit' button should result in the changes being written to the blockchain.

Actual behavior

I see an error message at the bottom right of the screen informing me that there was an 'Error while submitting to the blockchain'.

How to reproduce

  1. upload a video to dtube.
  2. edit the saved video.
  3. click 'edit' to save the changes.
  • Browser: Firefox
  • Operating system: Windows 10

    This needs to be pointed out and fixed. Apparently Dlive also allows uploading of videos as well as editing I think. Lots of people have just been posting there to avoid problems until dtube fixes some of its problems. Dtube also takes 20 or 25% and everyone is saying the Dlive currently takes no cut.

    • Cannot Reproduce - I was able to successfully Edit a video on both Chrome and Firefox. I suspect it was a temporary issue, as we've been experiencing a lot of those lately that are not specific to individual services like D.Tube but rather Steem or Steemconnect themselves.

    I am able to edit videos now too - they released v.0.7 of Dtube since i logged this issue so it appears that fixed it.

          utopian is a website that uses the steem blockchain, like steemit.com.
          utopian is connected to the software site github.com - where people share free and open source software with each other.
          if you work on a project or find a bug with a project, then you can make a post using utopian instead of github or steemit and you will be rewarded by utopian for doing it. their team has to approve all submissions first though.
