Judging by the comment provided you have resolved the issue, it might be worth adding that to the GitHub issue to provide additional clarity to the project owner. By the response provided by the project owner, it's seems that the behaviour is expected for security reasons in some scenarios and without any further clarification surrounding the applications installed on the device it's impossible to tell if an issue has occured.

I thought I would take this oppurtunity to provide some feedback on this contribution to help your contributions further in the future.

It's considered best practice to wait for the project owner to acknowledge the issue prior to reporting, not only does this help you score higher points it also allows you to know for sure the issue at hand. Maybe something to consider in your next contribution?

Did you know that you can also score higher points by looking for the cause of the issue and proposing a suitable fix? I've seen that you're fairly active within the development category, so maybe something to consider.

Other than that your post was fairly detailed, I also realize it's tricky to provide steps to reproduce in this situation.
