I was able to replicate this issue.

This behavior is common across other applications and although the issue you discuss is much related to SteemConnect not supporting this format I do agree that in this event it should be handled by the application and this is obviously a flaw in the current application.

1. I've seen you make comments in the past surrounding a possible fix, this was a fairly easy one to suggest a fix for. Potentially worth a go next time?
