Your steps were easy to follow and I didn't need to use the gif to understand and replicate, this is great. Thanks. Although I was able to replicate this issue multiple times, there are occasions where it works as expected and the icon is correctly filled.

As always, it's great to see that you have reported this issue via GitHub and this issue has been added to the upcoming work.

Although I am able to understand what you're trying to say from the rest of your contribution, your expected behavior is hard to follow and the overall construction could be improved.

The app does not indicate if a user is already on the favorite list when you visit the user's profile and clicking the favorite icon again multiplies the username on the favorite panel.

However, I think it would be better phrased as:

When a user adds a user to their favorites list using the heart icon on the user profile page, the icon is not filled to provide an indication that a user is an existing favorite following exiting and re-entering a user's profile.
