Emoji for steemit comments or post writing section

Addition of emojis to the comment section or even the post writing section. It is quite surprising, a site for social networking still lack of this obvious feature.

Proposal

As steemit is growing to become the next Facebook or social site, It's still surprising that basic interaction feature such as emoji is not available on the comment or post writing section. We humans tend to read faces better than words. And we are dying to know what the other person really feels like. Based on this research quoted :

Fully 92 percent of all people online use emoji now, and one-third of them do so daily. On Instagram, nearly half of the posts contain emoji, a trend that began in 2011 when iOS added an emoji keyboard. Rates soared higher when Android followed suit two years later. Emoji are so popular they’re killing off netspeak. The more we use 😂 , the less we use LOL and OMG.

Based on this data, we can say a little change might give a great impact on the popularity of steemit. So why not implement it? It's right there under our nose the whole time.

Benefits

More than 90 percent of online populations use emojis and emoticons in texts and emails, and early studies have found that emojis can help with cross-cultural communication and provide useful insights into user personalities. This kind of information could be of interest to those working in a range of fields, from linguistics to marketing.

Emoji is part and parcel of the social networking site. Even in normal human interactions among each others, we are constantly seeking for both verbal and nonverbal cues. Emoji might just be the best candidate to fit that gap of nonverbal cues. Some researches even believed that emojis and emoticons are utilised as visual aids to further vividfy the message intended to get across. Imagine how many fights or misinformations can we saved :P

This is of course a communication tool for us steemians to better interact with each others. I bet steemians have so much to share among them. But lack of emoticons just doesn't bring that spice to the table. I hope this feature will be added in the future!
