Schedule Expenses/Revenue, password protect, Upload receipt and reminder features should be added on budget watch application

Budget watch is a very useful application which enables you to manage both your budgets and your revenue. It is an open source application which provides variety of options to choose from when creating a budget. They are some improvement that I believe when added will help improve the application and also enhance the capabilities of the application.

Proposal

Am proposing the addition of some features to budget watch application. This features are features that should be developed and added to the application.

1. Schedule Expenses/Revenue.

A schedule expense/revenue is an option just like the normal Expenses/Revenue tab, it operates on the same principal. The only difference between a schedule Expense/Revenue tab is the ability to include a reminder option to your Expense/Revenue. Schedule expense/Revenue is an option that provides the user with a schedule feature. It allows the user to schedule his bills and revenue ahead of time. Through this feature, a user can schedule his bills to be paid on a certain date in which he had added to the expenses and when the time comes the reminder will remind him of his scheduled bills. The same goes for schedule revenue.

2. Password protect.

Password protect option should also be included on budget watch application. Password protect is very essential when it comes to applications that has to do with budget data. Password protect is an option that requires the user to input a certain character as his password which will be used in accessing the application from time to time.

3. Upload receipt

Upload receipt option should be added also because it is an option that allows the user to access an already stored receipt from his mobile storage. While adding a budget, you'll notice that it has on a capture button which is still very useful. Most times a user might want to upload a receipt in which he had snapped outside the budget application. The addition of this feature will enable him to upload receipts from his storage.

4. Reminder option

Reminder option is an option that will provide the user with a constant reminder to update his budget every day. This feature should be added to the setings display on the application and it should provide the user with a time feature and an embedded notification text. A reminder when set to a particular time, it will notify a user that he should update his budget for the day. This feature should be optional and a user can decide not to turn it on.

• Developer should develop and add this features to budget watch. Schedule Expenses/revenue should be developed in form of a tab and it should have all the features that are included on the traditional Expenses/revenue tab the only difference should be the addition of a scheduler which at as a reminder for the user.
• Password and reminded features should both be added to the settings tabs so that a user can easily access it. Password protect feature should provide the use with a text field to create and save his password. Each time the application is closed, when open the application should ask for a password.
• Upload receipt feature should be added to the add to the add expenses/revenue tab which will enable a user to access his mobile device in other to upload a receipt.

Benefits

Budget watch is a very useful application and the above suggestions will help in making the application serve more purpose. The addiction of this suggested features will be a big boost to the application.

Schedule Expenses/Revenue

Schedule Expense/Revenue tab will be a Blessing to users because with this tab added it will help in improving the budget planning of users. With this features a user will never be late for his payments and also it will provide him with an option to schedule his expenses and revenues ahead of time. With a reminder being added, it will act as a notifier to users.

Password protect

When a password option is enable on the application, it will provide the users with an ability to lock their budget watch application. With this option a user will feel relaxed anytime his children are playing with his phone because he will be certain that his budgets have not be tempered with. It will protect the saved budgets of users from being seen or deleted by another user.

Upload receipt

In a situation where a user did not capture his receipt through budget watch application, with this feature it will be easy for him to upload his receipt directly from his gallery.

Reminder feature.

Having a reminder feature will be great. Most users after a long day might forget to input their expenses or revenue but with a reminder feature added on the application it will be easy to set the reminder to anytime you're convenient with so that you get a constant reminder everyday to input your data before the day goes by.
