Description

This is the first in a series of video tutorials on the Kotlin Programming language. In this tutorial video, we look at the basic types in Kotlin. This includes Ints, Floats, Longs, Doubles, Bytes, Shorts, Characters, and Strings. We also look at casting or the explicit type conversion methods that Kotlin supports. We end by talking about the various properties of Strings such as index, length and methods and we talk about how all basic types in Kotlin are treated as Objects.
