Steem is a reward platform, based on the blockchain for users to monitize their contents.
Steem cuts accross different nations and races. More like a home for everyone on the continent. It gives you a voice and an audience.
You ever have quality content that you would love to get to a lot of people? Steem gives you the people and also rewards your for your creative content.
Steem works on the Proof of Brain Algorithm.
Steemit is First of the apps to be built on steem. I was introduced to steemit around April and without a job, i have worked part time on steemit, this not only increased my network, but i learnt about the crypto universe. it was my first actual interaction with cryprocurrency and now, i know quite a lot and am still learning. Steemit created a source of income for me plus gave me an audience for all my content. I have come to know strangers, continents away as friends.
I chose to translate the whitepaper to yoruba just so people out there get to know that the blockchain supports decentralization therefore you are welcome to write your content even in yoruba language. Steem has a place for you. My heart beats for people, youths, unemployed and resulting to vice, there is hope for honest earning right here on the blockchain network through hardwork, consistency and openness to learning.

Since June 2016, approximately $40,154,371(14,535,882,302 Naira) has been given as reward.
