Update to Resteemit

The Resteemit Button is a donation-based curation tool by @gktown that can be used to give or get votes from the resteemable trail. Install the Chrome Extension from Github, navigate to an article that needs some love, upvote it, then click the resteemit button.

The first version of Resteemit extension was released a few days ago and after some testing, @gktown realized that there was an unwanted behavior: the Resteemit button is supposed to only resteem and upvote valuable posts. However, because the button was referenced to appear in a certain layout, it also appeared in the Comments and Replies sections.

Indeed, after checking, the layout in there was similar to the "Blog" layout. The new behavior is that the extension will check the current url before deciding if it needs to insert the button or not. The pull request can be found here.

To conclude, it's a great tool for promoting content, and helping to promote yourself and others.
