Does Steemit Need A User "CONTACT" Tab?
It would be helpful if Steemit had a CONTACT tab. This tab would be for professional purposes only.
Since Steemit is a 24-hour platform, user-times vary across many time zones; and contacting a person in real-time via chat is often a hit or miss.
The CONTACT tab would:
prevent users from having to leave the Steemit platform; inevitably, a timesaver with ease of access.
have a hover option to mute/block trolls with a right click.
allow users to leave a message regarding professional concerns on a post; and, more importantly, offering suggestions for bugs/improving non open-source apps.
provide a ‘real-time’ in-house means of communication without need for external emails.
When the user logs in, a number showing the amount of messages in the CONTACT queue would be available to the right of the tab, just as the current display of comments/replies.
When clicking on the CONTACT tab it would display the user’s name and the topic of the message.
That’s it.
