What is Project RED?
- Project RED is a tool that aims to connect individuals looking for blood to possible donors.Login Page
Dashboard
After a successful login you will automatically redirected to dashboard, wherein you can request for a blood donation or you can see post from other people looking for a blood donor (See photos attached).
Request for a Blood
Before you can request for a blood, you will need to input necessary details in order for the app users to be notified if their blood type is requested. The good thing there is the poster has the capability to upload the picture of the patient and can also put the place of the hospital basing on the location of the user.
After the user has successfuly posted the request, anyone who has the same blood type as requested will be easily notified through the app or through email. (Screenshot Below)
If someone wants to donate, the requestors notification will popped and when opened, the user will be redirected to a page where he / she can saw the name of the possible donor and the user has the capability to send the possible donor a message or just view his donation history. (See Images Below)

Thank you for your contribution. Interesting project, however, I have some reservations on this, as the blood safety is the top priority and I don't see how the blood can be used directly via the app without safety procedures such as being tested for STD e.g. HIV etc.
However, It might be useful if this app is adopted in nation-wide hospitals and the databases are shared.

Hello @justyy thank you for your observation :). The app is not used for "directly using the blood" hence it's a tool for connecting blood requestors to possible donors, the process is, the donor and the requestor must go to a certain hospital so that the possible donor will be checked if he is healthy or not. That's why the app has a built in messaging system in order for the requestor and the donor to communicate to each other, also, the content that is posted by the user includes the hospital name and address where the patient is confined. In that matter, the possible donor will just go to the hospital and schedule a time for his health examination.

This will really help a lot of people looking and donating blood. Glad it was posted here.
Thanks for the compliment sir! I created it for some people usually post on social media that they are looking for blood and has a higher chance that it will just be ignored. By just using this app, one request only and all users that has the same blood type as requested will be automatically notified.
